When you are about ten years old, you start to train a sport and you dream of one day getting into the first team of your club . If you’re committed, hard working everyday and have at least some talent, after a while, you may find yourself in that first team.

Then you dream about playing for the national team or going to a better club. After a few years, when you get into the national team, you start dreaming about playing for a great foreign club.

Everything goes smoothly, you do your job, maybe you don’t enjoy every second in training, but you love to play the game, you hunger for victory.

With hard work and various sacrifices, you play a couple of seasons abroad or in a better club in your country, and when you turn around, you are already more than 30 years old. You’re already a veteran player and Continue reading

Povreda i šta sa njom ( prvi deo)

Da li vam se desilo da u jednom trenutku dok igrate ili trenirate  osetite bol. Možda u kolenu, ramenu, zglobu, ledjima(ovi su najgori po meni) ili na nekom drugom mestu.

Povreda vas sprečava da trenirate. Kada vam doktor kaže da mora da prođe BAR 10 dana bez treninga, a vi znate da je baš taj vikend važna utakmica. Znate koliko ste naporno trenirali da tada zablistate i pokažete šta znate.

«Povrede su deo sporta» je rečenica koju tada čujete od vama bliskih ljudi i tada su vam te reči slaba uteha. Continue reading

Do you remember your very first training session? The thrill of expectation the first time you try a sport you like. The desire to learn something new and exciting.

In my life I trained judo, skating and dancing (briefly and unsuccessfully 🙂 ), volleyball and basketball. I still remember every detail from each first day of training. Da li se sećate svog prvog treninga? Uzbudjenja kada prvi put probate neki sport koji vam se dopada. Volje da naučite nešto novo i uzbudljivo.

U svom životu  trenirao sam  džudo, klizanje i ples (kratko i neuspešno:), odbojku i košarku. Još uvek se sećam svakog detalja sa svakog prvog treninga. Prvog odbojkaškog treninga, davne 1986. godine, kada me je trener Mocko Stevan doveo u grupu dečaka koji su bili tri godine stariji od mene i promuklim glasom mi rekao prvu lekciju o odbojci: « kad te udari lopta to ne boli» Continue reading

Decisions for 2014……..

UpComing-Happy-New-Year-2014

Many people say, ” In the New Year I will not … ( and then some negative things they want to change: cry , be sad , smoke,  be angry ,  block badly, score poorely , whatever ..) . Often it  doesn’t work for them …

To succeed you use a little trick that will allow that it works for YOU !

Say to  yourself , ” From the New year I will … ( and then all positively stated ) ….. for ex. . Be cheerful, talking quietly , throw  away the cigarettes , do good block , score a goal per game) ” and then imagine yourself with this new desired virtues and qualities .

I am wondering if You can imagine where you are, who you’re with , when you have the new desired qualities. How do you feel when you behave like that?

You can imagine your whole  day. How are you   talking to other people? How others perceive you and talk to you when you’re like this?

Do you feel the difference ? Do you like the new YOURSELF in  2014. year ?

Take a sheet of paper and write it all down . Describe yourself to the smallest detail with that new quality. This is very important to write everything down on paper! You can stick it on the bathroom mirror , refrigerator or some place in the appartment that you pass by  frequently .

If You like that new You  , then  at the stroke of midnight , say once more to yourself, ” I am now …….. ( then what you want to positively phrased ) ” and become a new-you, think and act with that new quality you have. It’s all up to you and the magic of the New Year will help .
